Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software QA Engineer with deep expertise in at least two of the following.

• OCP SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface)
• SDK for any networking ASIC
• Layer 2 & layer 3 networking features
• Knowledge of networking ASIC pipelines

Experience on test frameworks like PyTest, PTF etc. and ASIC API library testing is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Test SDK & SAI features and API
• Develop test strategy and test plans for SDK & SAI features
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and deployment
• Participate in reviews, design discussions, and documentation efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network software QA
• Proficient in Python
• Experience with PTF (Packet Test Framework) and PyTest for validation
• Good grasp of networking features, concepts
• Some familiarity with network ASICs and switch hardware architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Can do, will do attitude, and a team player

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAI Challenger network testing framework.
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols (e.g., VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF).
• Familiarity with GenAI development tools
