Position Overview
We need a Senior Staff Engineer to own the technical strategy for 800G lossless fabrics and switch ASIC debuggability as we are building the AI-Native Network.
Key Responsibilities
- ASIC & Fabric: Lead pipeline tuning (Broadcom/Cisco/NVIDIA) and performance analysis for RoCEv2/InfiniBand clusters.
- Protocol Mastery: Deep-dive into BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN to optimize AI training jobs.
- NOS Leadership: Own enhancements and bug resolution for the SONiC ecosystem.
- Systemic Debugging: Use Python and a deep ability to read NOS source code (C/C++) to resolve high-stakes customer issues and code-improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Networking/Systems Engineering.
- 3+ years hands-on with SONiC or equivalent NOS.
- Expert knowledge of Linux internals, Docker, and 400G/800G PAM4 optics.
- Ability to translate complex failures into executive-ready RCAs for tier-1 customers.
