Position Overview
We are seeking a Principal Engineer to lead full-chip Static Timing Analysis (STA) and drive timing closure for complex SoC designs at advanced nodes (7nm/5nm/3nm)
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-chip STA and timing closure across all modes and corners
- Define and manage timing constraints (SDC) and scenario setup
- Drive WNS/TNS closure, timing ECOs, and correlation with PD
- Perform signoff timing using Primetime/Tempus
- Ensure correlation between block-level and full-chip timing
- Work closely with PD, RTL, DFT, and architecture teams
- Develop STA methodologies, automation, and debug flows
Requirements
- 12–20+ years in STA / Physical Design
- Strong expertise in Primetime/Tempus, SDC, MCMM flows
- Deep understanding of timing closure, ECOs, and signoff
- Experience with advanced nodes (≤7nm)
- Proven track record of full-chip timing closure
