Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to help shape the user experience of our open-source AI Rack Orchestration platform. You will design User eXperiences (UX) and build modern, scalable User Interfaces (UI) with intuitive Visual Design (VD) that simplify complex infrastructure and virtualization environments for enterprise / neocloud users worldwide. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development, validation, and optimization of orchestration platforms, helping drive innovation in data center and enterprise network infrastructures built for AI/ML applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI components for the AI Rack Orchestrator web interface.
- Write well-tested, maintainable code with strong test coverage (TDD mindset)
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation for UI components and features.
- Use consistent, high-quality UI Design System and locale internationalization for customer-centric customizations.
- Continuously enhance usability and overall user experience.
- Stay current with modern web technologies and proactively improve existing components.
- Contribute to process and codebase improvements to maintain high software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engg., or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in web development.
- Strong experience with developing and maintaining user-facing web applications..
- Proficient in Web technologies like React, Redux and Webpack
- Use of version control systems: Git
- Familiarity with Linux internals, docker containers, and network virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows (e.g., GitFlow)
- Experience collaborating on software projects and contributing to technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with or contributing to open-source software is a plus
- Experience with Networking switches and interfaces like gNMI / REDFISH.
- Comfortable contributing beyond pure UI development when needed (e.g., collaborating on API integrations or platform-level improvements).
- Knowledge of virtualization and familiarity with open source platforms is a strong plus.
